Arknon nodded to her gesture, before answering. ''We leave at the second shift of the celestial sky, before the darkest parts of the cosmos cover our home. The strike force will gather at the edge of our encampment then, be sure to say your goodbyes...." the male said, with little worry or concern in his tone. ''These kinds of trips tend to leave bodies behind. You understand?'' Arknon questioned, though he hardly waited for a response before striding back down the hallway in which they both had travelled before. Disappearing into the shadows that welcomed him like an old friend.

Keres gave a swift nod, voicing her thanks for honor of the opportunity as he walked away. Her posture and expression remained calm and confident despite the inner turmoil that flooded her veins. She watched him disappear into the darkness before her before she began the walk out. It was unnerving, the feeling of eyes watching her movements as she left the winding cavern he had led her to. Though the further she got, the faster her pace.
When at last she broke free from the caves all together, she was at a trot, heading towards the outer dug out dens to find her armor and calm her mind. So much had transpired after the unexpected meeting. She had hardly expected to meet the leader of the rebellion one on one, let alone be offered to join a raiding party. She should be estatic. And part of her was, though another held tightly to the desire to return to the pride and speak to her siblings. She wanted to find comfort in their words and ensure their safety, /Ensure her own safety./
What would happen if she didn't come back from this? It was common sense to know that any raid or fight was dangerous for any involved, it was ridiculous to expect otherwise. And yet she was shaken by the idea of not coming back.
It was only when she was inside her make shift den that she let a shake your breath out. There was nothing really to do. She wasnt going to flee, her pride and beliefs wouldnt let her. Not to mention that if she fled now she'd die. She would just have to be cautious, no hesitation in ending another's life.
She could do this.
---- When it was time, Keres lay at the edge of the camp, watching the sky darken. She'd already hunted something small, spoke with others that were going and even had had her armor inspected by a forger. Her emotions and posture were under strict control, a confident and cool demeanor was all that was shown. She was ready for anything. She had to be.

Arknon strode through the dark like it was an old friend. Their meeting together complimented the other, allowing both to seamlessly co-exist in that moment. With mighty strides, the male made his way down the tunnels he had journeyed before and out into the main area to collect the necessary numbers for their trip. Most of which would die for the cause, but it was a sacrifice he was willing to make for them.

Hours later the group had been gathered and were waiting anxiously for the moment of their leave. Arknon stood in front of them all, his back turned to them as his dead eyes gazed across the horizon. His voice was stark against the silent night as he spoke "We have gathered this night to exact penance on the ravine pride. They have aided our enemy.... time and time again. But, their efforts will prove fruitless. Every last one of them will pay for this treachery. Death, shall absolve them of these crimes....and help me conquer the pride in the days to come." The male said, receiving joyous shouts and approval from this group.
Without another word, Arknon began walking towards the mountain range ahead, off to the ravine who sat hand and hand with the prides boarders.

Keres lifted her head as Arknon approached, her eyes meeting his for a fleeting moment- likely only noticed by her. Yet- it was an odd feeling of excitement that roused answer the leader spoke of their mission. They could do this.
She shouted alongside the others of the group. Their voices raising the attention of others that lingered within the camp that would not join the raid. There was an odd sort of pride she felt in being included, rather than being left behind as she normally was.
As Arknon began their journey, Keres fell instep beside a water elemental. The two chattered quietly about what led them to find the rebellion, what drove them to dislike the pride.
